UBC's Learning Exchange
UBC has a new resource centre for the community. Located at 121 Main Street, the Learning Exchange is a home base
for people from UBC who are working
in the Downtown Eastside and a place where people from the community can learn about UBC's resources and how
to access them.
As part of the Learning Exchange, UBC has partnered with a coalition of eight other Downtown Eastside organizations to provide free Internet access at various locations throughout the community. UBC students with computer skills will provide instruction on using the Internet, developing research skills and evaluating information.
