Alumni Association Endorses Second McEachern Term

The Board of Directors of the UBC Alumni Association has endorsed Allan McEachern for a second term as UBC Chancellor.

The Chancellor is elected by the UBC Convocation, which includes faculty members and alumni of the university. The Chancellor is a member of the UBC Board of Governors.

Nominations for Chancellor and eleven members of the university’s Senate close at 4 p.m. on Friday Dec. 3, 2004. Nomination forms may be obtained at UBC Election Services at 2016-1874 East Mall or by calling 604.822.9952.

McEachern is a UBC alumnus and former Chief Justice of the B.C. Supreme Court and the Appeal Court of B.C.
