The British Columbia Service For Medication Information Learning And Education In BC (BC SMILE). BC SMILE is a medication information program for the public in BC. A research team from UBC is asking for the assistance of people with Parkinson's to participate in research. This research is aimed at understanding how Parkinson's may affect complex activities such as managing multiple tasks. Participation involves performing fairly simple tasks, some of which involve responding verbally to computer, screen displays. The general goal of this work is to develop effective methods of coping with Parkinson's. If you are a healthy person of the age 50 years or older, we are also in need of several people to participate in this study as part of a non-Parkinson's comparison group.
