UBC neuroscientists among world's most cited
A recent survey has shown that neuroscience research at UBC now
ranks fourth in the world in terms of citations per published paper.
The survey was conducted by Science Watch, the newsletter of the
Research Services Group of the Institute for Scientific Information
that quantitatively analyzes scientific journal literature.
This ranking puts UBC neuroscientists, many of whom work at the
Brain Research Centre, at the top among Canadian universities in
this category. University of Toronto is listed as 15th in the same
category.
