UBC News TV is on the Air
Lloyd Axworthy, director and CEO of the Liu Institute for
Global Issues, recently became the first UBC expert to participate
in a live interview broadcast from the Public Affairs studio
in the Cecil Green Coach House. The studio is equipped with
fibre optic cables that allow any broadcaster in the world
to take a live feed from UBC. In this recent interview, Mr.
Axworthy chatted live with CBC Newsworld host Don Newman in
Ottawa and former Foreign Affairs Minister Barbara McDougall
in Toronto.
