Twin Towers fund
A special fund has been established to allow UBC staff, faculty
and students to contribute to the Twin Towers Fund in New York City.
The fund is intended to provide relief for the families of firefighters,
police and other rescue workers who died in the attack on the World
Trade Centre Sept. 11.
If resources permit, the Twin Towers Fund will also be used to
assist the families of other persons who lost their lives or were
injured during the tragedy.
UBC's fund has been established at the suggestion of members of
Plant Operations and with the assistance of staff in ITServices,
Financial Services and the President's Office.
Cheques should be made out to the "Twin Towers Fund" and sent to
Financial Services, 2075 Wesbrook Mall in an envelope marked "Relief
Fund" by Oct. 19.
