Official Community Plan for UBC

A proposed Official Community Plan (OCP) has been prepared by the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) through a consultative process involving UBC, interest groups from on and off campus and the public. The OCP has been developed in a manner consistent with the GVRD's Livable Region Strategic Plan, which calls for the protection of the Green Zone and building of complete communities. It has been approved by the University's Board of Governors and has received first and second readings from the GVRD's Board of Directors.
